| The company commenced its operations in 1990 with the
establishment of partnership named Yong Siang Hardware
Trading. In 1994, TAIKO METALS SDN BHD was incorporated,
to take over the partnership business.
The primary activities are collection, trading and
recycling of all grades of ferrous and non-ferrous metals,
industrial scraps, electronic scraps and transportation
business.
At the present time, TAIKO METALS SDN BHD operates
on an industrial land of 5.1 acre situated Jalan Seelong/Mukim
Senai, Kulai. TAIKO METALS SDN BHD employs more than
150 workers and management executives.
In 2007, TAIKO METALS SDN BHD recorded an annual
turnover of RM99 million. It has achieved a sales turnover
of RM120 million on 2008. TAIKO METALS SDN BHD has
export market covers China, Japan, India, Taiwan, Korea， South East Asia and Europe.
We are committed to providing quality products which
meet our customers’ requirements. TAIKO METALS
SDN BHD has obtained ISO 14001:2004 (Environmental
Management System) and ISO 9001:2008 (Quality Management
System) on 21st October 2005 and 25th May 2009 respectively.
This certification certifies that our operations are
carried out in accordance with International Quality
Standards and allow us to compete more effectively in
the domestic and international scrap metals market.
We take pride in our steadfast growth and evolvement
from a sundry scraps collector setup in 1990, to one
of the largest metal recycling companies (in term of
volume of metal recycled) in Malaysia today. |
